Adam Passaglia has always had a passion for trading. He began at a very young age, as a summer intern on the floor of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. His trading career was launched in earnest within a month of his graduating from the University of Illinois with a BA in Finance, at an international proprietary trading firm based in Frankfurt, Germany. His ascent to the upper echelons of the trading world did not go unnoticed, and his talent was undeniable. He was hailed as “The King of Continuity” by Futures Magazine, where he was featured as one of the most consistent, disciplined traders of Europe, one of the brightest traders Eurex had ever seen. Upon his return stateside in 2002, Adam founded his own proprietary trading firm, Passaglia Trading. He trained, mentored and developed traders, imparting upon them first-hand knowledge and skills. In 2012 he teamed up with Amnon Baazov, with their merger creating ARB. As managing partner, Adam has overseen the growth of ARB Trading Group into one of the largest proprietary trading firms in the world, with a truly global footprint. Adam is also an experienced investor, having participated in early rounds in numerous successful start-ups. The same skills he honed as a trader, namely rigour, discipline and attention to detail, have served him well as an investor.
